Writing-Describing a character

She looks like a clown because she has a white face. She also has pink lips and orange hair.She is also a  big fan of tea and she has a big spooty tie, have I mentioned her eyebrows are attached to her hair? And also a tag on her hat as well, is it stolen?

Hi fellow readers recently the Roald  Dahl group have been  reading  AND THE WINNER IS.We had to think about what the main idea in the book is and what we give it out of 10. Here is a video to show what I mean.

Assembly

I  really liked I'm on my way the song because I got to lead everyone on the stairs. At the end I liked the silly photo.

Term 2 Reflection

Sound

The most interesting thing I found out about sound was at the Middle Syndicate soundscape Room 8 told a story and we had to listen to them and you could almost see the story in your head even though we couldn't see them. I also thought it was interesting that your ear drums can pop if you hear a really loud sound next to your ear.

Eating the Vegetables

At the middle Enviro Agents gardens we planted broccolli and  silverbeet. We cut it and took it to the staffroom and took turns at doing something to cut the brocolli up, cook it and make the cheese sauce.  Finally the bell went, we went  to lunch and we all got some to eat. I thought it was really great!

Arbor Day

I  really  liked  Arbor  day,  but only Enviro Agents could come. So  I  am going tell you something about  it. Frist we got to the zoo  and had morning  tea but  suddenly out of the corner  of  my eye I  could  see 300  kids and 200 parents but in my other eye  I could see the Mayor.The really tiring part was when we had to plant 1000 trees. But the best part was when we had a hot dog at the end.

Speech

I think I can work on my question (hook at the start) and summary sentence at  the  end.
What I think I did wall was my eye contact and research.

Mini speech

I  think  I  can  work  on  my   eye  contact  with  the  crowd. What I  did  well  was my  question  at  the  beginning   of  the  speech. 

My play

I think I can work on looking at the audience the whole time. What I  did well was my  introducing speech  telling the audience what the play was about and the characters.

Math problem

Sam has 20   lollies and  Oliver   has   5. How   many   do  we   have  all    together?

swimming goal

My goal is to keep my legs together when I am  practicing my freestyle and swim faster.

Welcome back to 2012

This year I am looking forward to going back to Ngaruawahia.
My goal for this term is to finish all of my work quickly and  neatly.
