ripper rugby

Team 12 have been playing ripper rugby. In my first game I scored 2 tries  and in my second game I scored 2 tries too. My favorite  part was playing as a TEAM!   By Sam.

Hi my name is Sam and this is a post is about running. I came 6th place! and it hard. The Seniors went to a park. I ran 1.5,ks, My best friend  Corban came 6th too but he did 2,ks. By Sam

kapa haka

At kaper haka I like the songs because it is fun. Matua Shaun and Whaea Kiri  are my teachers.  I like kapa haka because it is fun and you get to learn more things.

Culture

1)  We celebrate Birthdays, Christmas, and Easter

2) It is Important to remember and respect our culture through story, song, and dance because these are the ways we tell other people about us.

3) It would be very confusing because no one would tell us apart.

4) They can tell different stories by the language.

5) We write our rules down, we talk as a family.

6) The word culture means how we are as a group.

 We celebrate Birthdays and Christmas by having family time together.

Class Mascot.

In room12 we got a  Sumatran tiger. It is our new mascot, we  had to  write a project (facts) and  a  back story. I liked researching about the Sumatran tiger because it is interesting. The hardest  part was the back story because you had to think outside the box. The tiger name is Lee Lee but I chose  George.
